I grew in
Utah's Wasatch Mountains and started paddling on southern desert
rivers with
my dad. I have 10 years of kayaking experience in Costa Rica,
Ecuador,
Chile, Argentina, New Zealand, Norway, Italy, Switzerland, Uganda,
Canada,
Mexico and all over the U.S. I compete internationally in
freestyle,
extreme racing and boatercross events and I've recently been
doing more
expedition kayaking. The highlight of my year was a 16 day
family trip down
the Grand Canyon in June. My paddle of choice is the AT2
Standard. It is
great all around for teaching, racing and freestyle.
